On March 7, we held the third Fireside Meeting of this term.
The theme this time was “Let's Think About Service Activities,” and it was an opportunity to hear each person's views.
The meeting began with greetings from President 伊豆, followed by an explanation of the main service activities of the Rotary Club of Tokyo Shintoshin. In self-introductions, which also served to build fellowship, each person spoke for about three minutes, not just stating their line of business but describing their work in detail and their strengths, so that others could get a sense of their personality.
During the self-introductions, everyone showed sides of themselves we don't usually see, and we were reminded of each person's likable character. Various opinions were also expressed on service activities, but everyone shared the same direction, that “the service activities of Rotary clubs should benefit society,” and we heard many valuable insights.
With delicious food and drinks in a warm atmosphere, it was a meaningful gathering.
Thank you very much to everyone who kindly took part despite their busy schedules.
We look forward to your continued support.
