• Under the theme “My Thoughts on Our Club's Service Activities,” everyone shared their views over dinner.
Below are excerpts of the opinions shared.
:Many of our activities have continued for a relatively long time. I'd also like to take an active part in overseas activities.
:How about several clubs working together on a somewhat larger project?
:We couldn't carry out service activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, but I want to participate actively from now on.
:I think we strike a good balance between local community service and international service.
:Projects like the well-digging in Nepal give a sense of achievement. The children's smiles are wonderful.
:Few members take part in local service activities.
:It is important to go on-site and take part directly.
:I'd like us to consider Youth Service, something that can help develop young people.
:Why not carry out service projects using grants (district and global)?
:Our club's service activities are wonderful. I look forward to activities that are truly Rotarian.
:I took part in the blood donation drive and want to do activities that make people happy.
:Wouldn't it be better to carry out service activities that take into account the feelings and views of those receiving the service?
It had been a while since our last fireside meeting, so the conversation was lively, and the two hours flew by.
Thank you to everyone who took part.
Everyone was camera-shy, so we finished without taking photos.
