Visit to Futaba Infant Home

Community Service Committee Chair 半場 慎一

On Wednesday, January 29, as a joint service project of the five Shinjuku clubs, we visited Futaba Infant Home and donated diapers, our second donation this year.
Together with Director 都留, we discussed whether there was anything we could support through our international service activities with the Rotary Club of Bangkok.
We were told that sponsorship funds would be helpful when they hold a charity concert.
Considering that we could contribute sponsorship funds and serve by helping with operations and at the venue, and that our club's name would appear in announcements for the event, enhancing our public image and branding, President 佐原且朗, International Service Committee Chair 石川佳照 and the Board agreed to consider it positively and to discuss holding it in the next Rotary year.
Participants: President 佐原且朗, Secretary 平岡直記, Member 大瀧一喜, Member 江成信武, Member 石川佳照, Member 飯尾　浄
