Thank you very much for the opportunity to serve as leader of Fireside Meeting Group 4.
Allow me to summarize the FSM held that day below.
The meeting began with a toast by President 伊豆. Over about three hours, everyone opened up and enjoyed lively conversation on all kinds of topics, making it a very pleasant gathering.
We also received much advice on the theme, how members should communicate in Rotary, making it a truly meaningful meeting. I would like to share the words Past District Governor 吉田雅俊 offered in his closing remarks: “Rotary is a diverse group that brings together people of different ages, companies, professions and experiences. Rotary is where you meet people you would never otherwise encounter, and Rotary works because there is communication and this diverse group comes together as one.
If a diverse group cannot communicate, it will fall apart.” Hearing this made me realize that there is still much room for me to communicate more with everyone.
Going forward, I intend to communicate actively and to engage fully in Rotary activities.
