Held on the theme “The Next 10 Years of the Shintoshin Rotary Club”

First of all, we sincerely apologize that the venue was hard to find and that the details were not sufficiently communicated. With a toast led by Member 秋山寿郎, the Group 5 Fireside Meeting got off to a successful start!
Member 秋山 treated us to his customary puns. Thank you for always livening things up!! Midway through, President 半場慎一 joined us despite his busy schedule and gave a greeting.
The meeting closed with remarks from Member 是枝伸彦.
Thank you very much to the many of you who took part despite your busy schedules.

On the theme, each participant shared very insightful words.
They are as follows:

  • He profits most who serves best. (This is certainly true.)
  • To talk about the next 10 years, learn the history of Rotary.
  • Stay true to the spirit of altruism. Selfishness, on the other hand, makes you smaller.
  • Go out of your way for others, and be sincere beyond considerations of profit and loss!
  • Come up with and share ideas for community service as a whole club (such as children's cafeterias).
  • To stay in a club for a long time, it has to be enjoyable. To that end, take the initiative in building relationships; fellowship is important.
  • Above all, attending club meetings is important. Attend before you talk about the next 10 years!!
  • Friends are the most important thing in life. Lifelong friends → all friends → like family
  • Put into practice caring follow-up for new members after they join
