Group 6 Fireside Meeting

The meeting was held on the theme “The Next 10 Years of the Shintoshin Rotary Club.” We apologize for the confusion caused by the change from the original venue. With only six participants, it was easy for everyone to talk, and we were able to have leisurely conversations with people we rarely get to speak with.

• The Shintoshin Rotary Club has specialists in many fields, so we can support people who want to start their own businesses and nurture people who will join Rotary.
• Create a system in which Rotary creates Rotarians.
• We want more young business owners to know about The Four-Way Test. We want to increase the number of young members.
  We want to sing the Four-Way Test Rotary song and deepen our understanding.
• We want the Shintoshin Rotary Club to play an even greater role in leading the entire district.
  We want to be a club with influence.
• Strengthen the Branding Committee and promote what makes Shintoshin unique, aiming to be a club that young people want to join.
  Because it is a great club where you can become friends with people from different industries, without hierarchy.
• Further improve how we welcome visitors attending for make-up, so that other clubs will also think of us as a good club.
• Fireside Meetings work best with about six to eight people.
• If you say “this year went by fast” ten times, ten years pass in no time.
  Building up year by year is what matters.
• Thirty years ago, there was the status of one member per profession. We want to strengthen the club from within and enhance our brand.
  We want to enhance the value of Rotary.
• We want to further raise our attendance rate.
