On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, 50 third-graders from Nishi-Shinjuku Elementary School and 12 club members replanted flowers (snapdragons) in the flowerbed in Shinjuku Central Park. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this was the children's first outdoor class activity of the year, and it was memorable to see them happily replanting the flowers. This project began as our club's 30th anniversary commemorative project and has now reached its third year. By maintaining it continuously with the cooperation of Shinjuku City and Nishi-Shinjuku Elementary School, our club can grow together with the local community and educational institutions, and we believe the project has significance as a sustainable undertaking. The next replanting with the elementary school students is scheduled for around March 2021, so please join us.
