創立30周年記念式典・祝賀会 | Rotary Club of Tokyo Shintoshin

The 30th Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony and Celebration, more than a year in the making, was held in the Century Room of Hyatt Regency Tokyo, our regular meeting venue.

In Part 1, the club meeting, led by Song Leader 江成 of the Song Committee, we sang three songs: the national anthem, “The Ideal of Service,” and “Aoi Sanmyaku.”

Part 2 featured congratulatory remarks by District Governor 松坂, an introduction of the commemorative projects, greetings from the Chief of Shinjuku Police Station, the Chief of Shinjuku Fire Station and the Ambassador of Nepal, and the recognition of distinguished members of our club.

In Part 3, 北河原公敬, Elder of Todaiji Temple, gave a lecture titled “Rotary and Me.” This was followed by a special concert by the Venice Chamber Ensemble, then on tour in Japan.

Part 4 featured a full-course French dinner themed on “recreating the cuisine of Chenonceau, the French restaurant that was popular when Hyatt Regency Tokyo opened in 1988,” a point of pride for the hotel.
