Rotary Day Blood Donation Drive

Saturday, April 9, 2022: Rotary Day Blood Drive

Community Service Committee Chair 青木 隆政

On Saturday, April 9, 2022, the Rotary Club of Tokyo Shintoshin held its 1st Rotary Day Blood Drive.

The weather was fine that day, and we are delighted that, with two blood donation buses ready, we were able to carry out the activity in excellent conditions for a street campaign.

We started with 42 advance reservations, but thanks to the (persistent) outreach of everyone who came to help, 117 people signed up to donate blood!

Holding placards and calling out to passersby all day must have been very tiring.

Thank you very much to everyone who participated for your hard work.

As we intend to continue this as an ongoing “can't-wait” project, we look forward to working together with all of you again next time.
