The welcome party began with a greeting from President 北岡修一 and a toast by Membership Development Committee Chair 児玉譲. After some time for conversation at each table, Member 本多良美 introduced Member 神農貴大, who then gave a brief self-introduction. Next, Member 児玉譲 introduced Member 段谷芳彦, who also spoke about his background.

Words of welcome were then offered by Member 半場慎一, by Member 青木宏義 on behalf of the younger members, and by Member 伊藤道男.

Everyone offered warm words of welcome to the two new members. In particular, Member 伊藤道男 had apparently lived in the same apartment building as Member 段谷芳彦 when they were young, with their families on close terms, and he shared some amusing stories from those days. Finally, Member 青山 also gave words of welcome, and Member 田口 delivered the closing remarks.

All members of the Rotary Club of Tokyo Shintoshin warmly welcome the two new members.

Members 神農貴大 and 段谷芳彦, we hope you will join the senior members of the Rotary Club of Tokyo Shintoshin at many events and enjoy a wonderful life as Rotarians.
