【Summary】
How did an organization that had lost its vitality, once even derided as “the group’s dead weight,” manage to curb its turnover
rate, achieve a V-shaped recovery in performance, and transform itself into one of Japan’s leading Certified Health & Productivity Management Organizations?
For nine years until March 2026, I led a team of engineers developing in-vehicle equipment as President and CEO of Panasonic ITS Co., Ltd. Ten years ago, what rescued a workplace shrouded in stagnation was not control through management, but a focus on “engagement” that unleashes the potential of each and every employee.
In this talk, based on my own experience of achieving both well-being and high profitability, I will explain in detail the concrete measures and process behind “Making People Shine” Capital Management, the core of our organizational reform. How can an organization be imbued with “the power to create a bright future”? I will share the story of this revival along with tips you can apply to your own management starting tomorrow.
